Mt Hotham, a 320 hectare powder paradise for skiers and snowboarders of any level, is Australia’s highest alpine village rising high above the tree line sitting 1861 metres above sea level. A myriad of steep valleys, tree runs, natural half pipes, gullies and bowls are all accessed by 13 lifts. Mt Hotham’s unique ski village sits on top of the resort allowing almost 360 degree views of surrounding peaks and valleys. Mt Hotham’s range of activities, events and attractions will ensure your snow holiday an enjoyable one.

Mt Hotham Chain Hire
All Vehicles including 4wds must carry snow chains by law at all times during the declared snow season, and fit them where directed. You will be denied access into Mt Hotham unless chains are carried.

Mt Hotham Resort Entry
All vehicles must obtain a Resort Entry/Parking Pass when entering the Mt Hotham Resort. Cars/4WDs are priced at $39.50 per day. It is recommended that your pass is purchased online at www.alpineeasyaccess.com.au as it saves time queuing at the ticket box. Mt Hotham Day Parking
Available at the Corral Day Car park situated adjacent to Hotham Central at the top of the mountain. Further day car parking is available adjacent to the Big D Express Chairlift and a free shuttle buses will transport you to the different ski areas.

Mt Hotham Overnight Parking
After unloading your luggage proceed to the Overnight Carparking areas which are situated south of the village on the road to Dinner Plain. A shuttle bus will transport you back to a bus stop near your lodge.

Mt Hotham Oversnow
Oversnow transport is not required as the unloading areas are situated in close proximity to the Lodges/Accomodation.

Kids Snowmobiling

Give your kids the ultimate thrill as they zoom around on a mini snowmobile - no licence required. Fully supervised and stacks of fun! For kids aged 5 to 14 years - at the Big D (weight restrictions apply).

Fireworks

Dog Sled Tours

Let a team of husky dogs guide you around Dinner Plain for one of the most unique Australian alpine tours. Bookings are essential on 0418 230 982.

Hotham Heli Link

Go on rockstar! Cruise on over to Falls Creek Resort on the Helicopeter Link and in just 6 minutes you can be skiing or riding another resort on the same lift pass. That’s a whole new resort to explore! Bookings are essential.

Sparkling Sunset Tours

Ride to the summit in a heated cabin atop one of our snow grooming kats. Experience a majestic Hotham sunset at 1861m whilst enjoying gourmet nibbles, beer and bubbles. Bookins are essential.

$45 per adult and $15 under 18yrs

Kat Skiing

Head out on the adventure Ski or ride the steep terrain of Golden Point and find powder stashes in the trees. Recommended for advanced skiers and boarders only. Check operating times.

First Tracks

Forget sleeping in, reward yourself with fresh tracks from Wednesday to Sunday as the Heavenly Valley chair turns from 7:30am. Recommeded for intermediate skiers and boarders or above.

Night Skiing

When the sun goes down the skiing and boarding doesn’t have to stop. Have a blast riding around the Big D under lights. Supervised sessions available for kids aged 7-14 yrs at $25 per child.

Cross Country Skiing

Hotham has some of the best cross country ski trails in Australia. Sheltered and scenic, it’s great way to get up close with the alpine flora and fauna. The 35km of trails are regularly groomed

Snow Grooming Tours

Climb aboard a heated Kassbohrer Kat and watch our grooming exxperts in action. Get a whole new view of the resort while you discover the science behind perfect corduroy snow. Bookings essential.

Teen Sessions

Relax or go out for dinner while your children join in a range of fully organized and supervised activities Available for 7-14 year olds. With night skiing, movies and games on select evenings. All sessions free except nightskiing which is $25. Ask for sessions details at Guest Services.

Tobogganing

For a bit of family fun head to the Hotham snowplay area near the Corral Day Carpark or the Dinner Plain official toboggan slope ‘Peashooter’, next to the begginer ski run. Access to the slopes is free.
